Canva had already turned the heads of designers and creatives across the consumer market; for its next phase, the company had set its sights on expanding into enterprise markets. 

With two massive product launches on the horizon —  at Canva Create 2025 and the company’s Droptober keynote event — Canva was building on its momentum as a fast-emerging enterprise player, creating new creative and design options for mainstream business adoption. 

The mission was clear: introduce new positioning around AI category leadership and Canva’s vision for a unified “Creative OS” that marries creativity with productivity, a gap the company is uniquely positioned to close.

In order to maximize visibility during these tentpole moments, we executed a comprehensive communications strategy, pitching an evolved narrative tied to new products across a spectrum of channels, from traditional press and analysts to Substacks, podcasts, and newsletters. 

Through bespoke storytelling, we spotlighted the company’s unique approach to AI innovation and secured coverage that showed Canva as a central player in conversations regarding the future of workplace design. We didn’t just tell them; we showed them how Canva changes the way business is done.

The Droptober moment delivered more than 700 stories, with an impressive 83% of coverage featuring Canva in the headline. Top tier business and technology outlets highlighted Canva’s growing influence in the creative ecosystem and reinforced its position as a formidable, enterprise ready platform. 

By clearly articulating its AI capabilities and Creative OS vision, Canva expanded the narrative beyond design and strengthened its reputation as an AI driven innovator.
